Wimborne Road East (Westbound)

There will be a temporary lane closure on Wimborne Road East (westbound) for 200m from Trickett’s Cross roundabout. The lane closure will be 24hrs per day and will commence on Monday 25 July until Friday 29 July 2022.

This will be followed by night-time closures (8pm – 6am) from Wednesday 3 August until the morning of Saturday 6 August 2022.

During these closures, diversions will be in place which are shown in the attached information.

These closures are necessary for safe construction of the new cycleway/footway works on Wimborne Road East. The westbound lane closure is essential to facilitate construction of the scheme. The night-time closures are to allow for resurfacing of a small section of the road, close to Trickett’s Cross Roundabout.
