Town Plan

The Ferndown Town Plan is a document that shows how the residents of Ferndown wish to see their town in the future and what needs to be done in the next 10 years to achieve this. The Town Plan is a guide for local councils, businesses and community action groups, to help in making the decisions that will affect us all.

Local people had the opportunity to have their say by answering a detailed questionnaire that was delivered to all residents in the winter of 2011/2012. It was also available to answer online via this website. The results of the questionnaire were analysed and used to create the Town Plan which will help to influence the future of our town.

YOUR opinion was important. The completed Ferndown Town Plan was officially handed over to the Mayor of Ferndown, Cllr Pauline Reynolds on Friday, 7th March 2014 at the Barrington Centre.

Copies of the Ferndown Town Plan can be obtained from the Ferndown Town Council Offices, King George V Pavilion, Peter Grant Way, Ferndown or from Ferndown Public Library in Penny's Walk.
