Ferndown Town Council is acutely aware of the inconvenience to our residents and visitors because of the ongoing traffic and parking issues. We are working closely with stakeholders to try to improve this situation for the benefit of our community.
Proposed Road Closures
An application from Kiely Bros Ltd has been received to close Various Roads, Ferndown as follows: Redwood Drive, Cedar Way, Juniper Close, Curlew Close, Dunedin Drive, Stonechat Close, Dunnock Close, High Trees Walk, Dunedin Close, Old Pines Close, Apple Tree Grove, West Moors Road (Service road), Heathlands Court and Locksley Drive. The closures have been requested to allow Kiely Bros Ltd to carry out carriageway surface treatment works. These works are programmed to commence between 07:30 – 16:00 from 18th September 2023 until 26th September 2023.
Kiely Bros Ltd will publicise the road closure in a number of ways: they will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works; they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works. The following map shows the extent of the closures.
