At the end of each Financial Year Ferndown Town Council has to produce a projected budget for the following year. From this, the Council asks Dorset Council to place a charge on every Council Tax payer within the Ferndown area. This money covers the running costs and expenditure. It is called the Precept. Residents can find the amount of Precept they pay on their Council Tax bill.
