PART TIME YOUTH WORKER


16 hour post per week, permanent contract Salary £8.83 per hour

Role Summary – Ferndown Town Council is looking for an enthusiastic team member to join the youth services team to support the Youth Worker in Charge to deliver and support the youth provision in Ferndown on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening.

The hours of work for this post are:
Wednesday 3pm – 6pm and 6.15pm – 9.15pm
Thursday 3pm – 6pm and 6.45pm – 9.45pm
Friday 6.15pm – 9.15pm

Place of work is Ferndown Youth Centre (Riffs), Mountbatten Drive, Ferndown, BH22 8FB.

We strive to equip young people with the skills, knowledge and experience to recognise and achieve their full potential whilst ensuring a suitable youth facility is available for young people within the town.

The successful applicant will work with young people in the 10-19 years age range. You will help with the delivery of youth activities and services.

Interview Date – Tuesday 12th November 2019
