TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT NOTICE, MARTINS WAY, FERNDOWN
DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. The Notice is
needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise
likelihood of danger to highway users. The Notice comes in to operation between 09:00 – 16:00 on 27th July 2023 and will remain in
force for 5 days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31st July 2023.
This Notice will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
The effect of this Notice is as follows:
[i] To impose temporary road closure of Martins Way, Ferndown as indicated by signs on site.
[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along
Martins Way, Ferndown.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal
and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
