Part-Time Cleaner/Caretaker and 2 Part-Time Youth Workers

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Cleaner/Caretaker to join us.

The basic hours of work will be 7.5 hours per week.

The annual salary is £3,510.

Role summary: To provide a cleaning service to the youth centre, moving furniture and room setups. The working hours will be 8am-9.30am Monday to Friday. In addition, you will be required to work the occasional weekend. The successful cleaner must have high cleaning standards with the ability to clean within set timescales and an ‘eye for attention to detail’.

Experience
1 year's previous experience of caretaking or premises management.

Experience of commercial cleaning and use of cleaning equipment.

Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

2 Part-Time Youth Workers


3 hour post and a 6 hour post per week, permanent contract Salary £17,000 p.a. pro rata. 

Role Summary – Ferndown Town Council is looking for 2 enthusiastic team members to join the youth services team to support the Youth Worker in Charge to deliver and support the youth provision in Ferndown. We strive to equip young people with the skills, knowledge and experience to recognise and achieve their full potential whilst ensuring a suitable youth facility is available for young people within the town. 

The successful applicants will work with young people in the 12-19 years age range. You will help with the delivery of youth activities and services.
