Ferndown Town Council is acutely aware of the inconvenience to our residents and visitors because of the ongoing traffic and parking issues. We are working closely with stakeholders to try to improve this situation for the benefit of our community.
Recent public feedback and a challenge from the Police and Crime Commissioner suggested there was confusion in how to report intelligence to the Force via the new Single Online Home website.
We have taken your valuable feedback on board and now have a new, quicker process for reporting intelligence which Dorset Police can use proactively to make our communities safer and inform enforcement action.
The front page of www.Dorset.police.uk now carries a ‘Report Your Intelligence’ box.
Clicking on the box will send you directly to a page which explains what police intelligence is and how you can report either directly to Dorset Police or anonymously via www.Crimestoppers-uk.org.
There is then only one further click to directly report intelligence to us which we can view and act upon.
We hope this new process not only makes reporting intelligence simpler, but explains the value of receiving information direct from you – the eyes and ears of our communities.
