Ferndown Stroke Club

"Don’t be a stroke victim, be a stroke survivor"

The club meets every 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Ferndown Girl Guide Hall in Spinney’s Lane.

Meetings commence at 10.30am and finish at 12.30pm.

(We have certified Employers Liability. Affiliation to the Stroke Association. Also designated responsibility for First Aid and Fire Marshall’s.)

Why not come along and enjoy our regular programme of events and meet other Stroke survivors who are learning about living a life that depends upon a positive attitude and a determination to achieve that which appears impossible.

The objectives of the club are :

  • To promote and encourage Stroke survivors to recognise their strengths to overcome their disabilities and take part in organised club activities.
  • To develop through friendship and mutual understanding how they may become stroke survivors.
  • To provide the facilities and infrastructure which allows for continued participation in the club event programme.
  • To increase community participation in club events by encouraging local people to join the members for special events.

Arlene Pavier is our Events Organiser and she may be contacted as follows:  Tel: 01202 581502 email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

We are delighted to have been nominated as the Ferndown Mayor's Charity for the 2015/16 municipal year.
