Ferndown Wayfarers Cricket & Sports Club

Ferndown Wayfarers Cricket & Sports Club was established in March 2010 with the amalgamation of two established clubs, Ferndown & Wayfarers. The club is based at its own ground known as Dolmans Farm, Castlemain Trailway, off Forest Links Rd, Ferndown, near BH22 9PH. By the start of the 2013 Season West Moors Cricket Club joined forces with us under the Ferndown Wayfarers banner. This latest merger enabled the club to get a foothold in the Hampshire League as well as the Dorset League.

After 2 years of consolidation in the Hampshire League, the 2015 Season saw our first team winning the County Division 4 league being unbeaten throughout the season with a run of 15 victories. The 2016 Season saw a further promotion to the County Division 2 with the 2017 & 2018 Seasons seeing us miss out narrowly reaching to County Division 1 –will 2019 be third time lucky?

Our 2nd team play in Regional Division 1 South West and our 3rd team in Regional Division 2 South West of the Hampshire League. Our 4th team which is mainly a development team for our up and coming Youth players, play in Division 6 of the Dorset League.
