Ferndown Jitsu Club

We meet every Wednesday evening from 18.30 - 20.45 and cater for ages from 7 to 17. The club has a good mix of boys and girls. Feel free to pop in to have a look and say hello. Mums and Dads are welcome and can have a cup of tea.


A massive haul of 47 Trophies and Medals is a Fantastic result for Ferndown Jitsu Club in winning 9 Gold, 3 Silver, 3 Bronze, 8 Special Awards and 23 Medals at the Junior Judo Championships at the National Judo Centre in Walsall Birmingham on Saturday 28 April .

Sensie Rob Hanrahan led a team of 23 children and young people and all were very pleased with themselves as they came home with a massive haul of 47 Trophies, It has been 4 years since Ferndown Jitsu Club has won the Jitsu Foundation's National Judo Shield.

Chairman John Hanrahan Said "What a fantastic result for Sensei Rob, Ferndown and Dorset, It must be said that the competition was very fierce but, all the hard work and preparation that has been put in by our youngsters has paid off this year well done to all that took part"
