Ferndown’s annual Remembrance Parade and Service will be held on Sunday 10th November. Residents are invited to both, but can choose to attend either.
The Parade:
The parade, accompanied by the band, will travel from the King George V Pavilion in Peter Grant Way BH22 9EN to St Mary’s Church (via Church Road).
The Service:
The service is held at St Mary’s Church, Church Road, Ferndown. The congregation is asked to arrive 15 minutes beforehand. This will prevent congestion at the door at the church, when the parade is fallen out.
Timings:
The timings are as follows:
14:00hrs – Arrival at KGV Pavilion to prepare for the parade form-up.
14:20hrs – Parade formed-up at the KGV Pavilion.
14:30hrs – March-off.
14:50hrs – Parade falls-out at St Mary’s Church.
15:00hrs – Church Service.
16:00hrs – Return parade fall-in.
16:20hrs – Dismiss at the King George V Pavilion.
Refreshments:
Tea and Biscuits will be available at the RBL Ferndown Branch after the service and parade.
