Ferndown Town Council is delighted to be working with experts from Dorset Council to deliver significant improvements to Victoria Road.
Dorset Council will be removing the deteriorating planters, trees and benches on Victoria Road, and this will make way for a new, sustainable planting scheme and functional seating. At the same time this work is taking place, proposals will be developed to deliver a vibrant, biodiverse solution which will encourage residents and visitors to spend more time in Victoria Road and Ferndown town centre. As soon as the proposals are ready, we will be sharing them and asking for feedback from our community.
Mayor Terry Cordery said “This is a wonderful opportunity for Victoria Road to be refreshed and for the people of Ferndown to have access to a more flexible environment which will bring benefits for many years to come.”
