Celebrating our Ferndown Community Hero

Ferndown Town Council is thrilled to announce that Mayor Councillor Terry Cordery presented a ‘Community Hero’ certificate to one of our outstanding local students, Dominic, at one of his school assemblies.

Dominic (age 6) and his Mum Lisa completed a 2km run around King George’s V Playing Fields! They were running to raise money towards the cost of a Pathway between Ferndown Leisure Centre’s car park and the main King George V path.

They have beaten their target and have raised an amazing £350 in total! Thank you Dominic and Lisa!
