Hello and thank you for visiting Ferndown Royal British Legion Women’s Section web page.

The Royal British Legion Women’s Section is an integral yet autonomous part of The Royal British Legion, and shares its proud 90+ year history. It is a non-sectarian, non-political organisation formed in 1921, to promote the well-being and to give assistance to ex-Servicewomen and the dependents of ex-Servicemen and women; and to assist The Royal British Legion in its work. It currently has 62,500 members from all walks of life aged 16 -102 and its President is HRH The Princess Royal.

Women’s section membership is open to any woman over the age of 16 who supports the aims of our organisation. Service not self.

The local branch of the Women's Section meets at the Royal British Legion Club in Church Road Ferndown BH22 9ET, more information may be seen on the club website.

Membership of the Women's Section also provides you with membership to the R.B.L Club above so you gain the best of both worlds with our and their events all in one low annual membership fee.

Ex Service personnel are most welcome but to join this is not a pre requisite.
